Reminder - ColoRadio meetup next week

Hi friends,

It is I, Ann. I am pleased to inform you that I am at least 40% less sweaty since the last time I wrote you. Shoutout to this cold front moseying into Denver.

We have so much happening over the next couple of months!! Here's the full scoop:

• I hope you'll join us on Tuesday the 18th for our next meetup at Town Hall Collaborative in Denver. It will be a swell time, it always is!
• On Tues, Sept 8, we're hosting another listening party at the Company. I am going to share something at this one. I swear. You'll hold me accountable, right? Do you want to share your work? Respond to this email and let us know, or contact ColoRadioClub@gmail.com
• Finally, on Oct 9, I'll be hosting a virtual event all about how I made On Something, the podcast I used to host from 2019 to 2021. Maybe you've heard of it? 👀 I'm excited to talk in-depth about how we came up with our whole approach, and some of the storytelling/sound decisions we made in certain episodes. On Something has been one of the biggest highlights of my career, and I worked with some seriously kick-ass producers on this show, so I'm really looking forward to sharing some of these memories with you :) We had a lot of fun telling stories about weed.

And here's one more thing. A lagniappe (do you know that word? it's a cajun phrase meaning "a little something extra." I love it.):

• Later this month on Aug 26, I'm hosting a virtual water cooler for the Association of Independents in Radio all about surviving as a freelancer. Struggling out there? Let's talk about it!
