Hey folks! It’s me, Ann.

First off - a very belated thanks to everyone who made it to last month’s event with Sarah Wambold! She’s the mastermind behind the podcast [Immaterial](https://www.metmuseum.org/perspectives/series/immaterial-podcast?utm%5Fsource=coloradio.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tomorrow-youth-on-record-at-the-denver-press-club), as well as the brand new creative studio [Headroom Media](https://headroommedia.org/?utm%5Fsource=coloradio.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tomorrow-youth-on-record-at-the-denver-press-club). This conversation was truly a gift for museum nerds like me. Thank you to Sarah for joining us!

I am quite stoked to be taking the lead on our event this week featuring [Youth on Record](https://www.youthonrecord.org/?utm%5Fsource=coloradio.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tomorrow-youth-on-record-at-the-denver-press-club). If you’re not familiar, this organization empowers young people to express themselves through art, music, and media production. You will recognize them if you’ve been to the [Underground Music Showcase](https://www.youthonrecord.org/about-us/underground-music-showcase-about-festival?utm%5Fsource=coloradio.beehiiv.com&utm%5Fmedium=referral&utm%5Fcampaign=tomorrow-youth-on-record-at-the-denver-press-club) in recent years! YoR’s Media Arts internship is the real deal, and I have had the privilege of getting to know a handful of these talented young people (and even hiring one of them!).

**This Friday, Sept 26 at 6:30 PM**, we’ll be joined by David Ladon, the arts educator and award-winning children’s musician who leads the Media Arts program at Youth on Record, as well as three members of their media team: Lucy Richardson, Tongjai Lee, and Miah Edwards. All three are former Media Arts interns, and we’ll get a chance to hear samples of their work.
