Hello hello hello friends,

It's me, Ann.

I know it's been a minute since our 10/9 gathering, but I just wanna say thank yooou for coming and listening to me and my brilliant friends talk about our little podcast. I recorded the discussion in the hopes of sharing it here, but it turns out my niche little video conferencing platform spits out recordings in some weird file format that can only be opened in VLC media player and if I try to convert it to an MP4 it strips out the sound. So cool!

I managed to export it as an MP3 if you want to take a listen here while staring at this beautiful screenshot:

We were stoked, I promise. It's hard to take a flattering screenshot. You simply had to be there! We will hold another online event in early 2027 so stay tuned. In the meantime.....

Finally some fun updates from our little club:

  • Just in time for spooky season....Madeline and Ivan have published their hell house story HERE. It has been a blast to follow the progress on this project, congratulations to these two for landing a truly unique story and spinning it well!
  • If you're friends with me on social media in any capacity, you've already been bombarded with this news, but I'm out with a new limited series this month called HATE STATE all about how anti-LGBTQ+ policies are crafted, tested in Colorado, and then exported to states far and wide. Episodes 1 and 2 are available here, subscribe to hear the final installment on Oct 29. Truly chuffed to partner with LOOKOUT News, you can find all our reporting for this project here.
